HOW WE WORK! Understanding the value of commercial real estate can’t be measured in dollars and cents alone. Getting the most out of commercial real estate, however, requires vision and guidance you can trust. At Maple Lease Real Estate Company, we focus on redeveloping commercial properties, particularly retail and industrial. We look for multi-tenant retail, office and industrial commercial buildings built before the 1980s, with deferred maintenance, subpar operations, poor renovations and under-built zoning envelopes. Total transaction sizes range from $2.0 to $4.0M. Our business plan is simple but effective – renovate, repurpose, extend and restore properties with development timelines of 1 year and hold periods of 5 years. We take advantage of valuable tax programs, including Business Revitalization Zones, and new Green Renovation Tax Credits.
